Because airline child policies change — and parents shouldn’t have to hunt for answers.
Most airlines, including Spirit, allow car seats and strollers to be gate-checked at no extra charge. A portable crib or pack ’n play is not the same as a stroller and is usually treated as checked baggage. This means it may need to be checked at the ticket counter and could be subject to baggage size/weight rules and fees.
