Can you bring baby food pouches on a plane with Air France when traveling with a baby?

Bringing baby food pouches on Air France

Yes — baby food pouches are allowed in carry-on when traveling with an infant. They are exempt from the 100 ml liquid limit if needed for the flight, but you should declare them at security.

  • Carry them in your diaper bag or carry-on; checked baggage is also fine but keep enough in the cabin for the flight.
  • At security, tell the TSA/airport staff you have baby food/ milk/formula — items may be screened separately, X-rayed, or subject to additional checks (including taste or chemical swabs in some airports).
  • Bring a reasonable quantity for the trip plus a little extra for delays. “Reasonable” means what you need for travel, not bulk commercial amounts.
  • Keep pouches in original packaging if possible and pack any spoons or warming items accessible. You can feed during takeoff/landing to help with ear pressure.
  • Rules at departure and destination airports can vary slightly — if you’re unsure for a specific airport, check with the airport or Air France before you travel.
