Can you bring baby food pouches on a plane with Avelo Airlines when traveling with a baby?

Bringing baby food pouches on Avelo Airlines

Yes — you may bring baby food pouches when traveling with a baby on Avelo. Avelo follows standard TSA rules for traveling with infants: you can carry reasonable quantities of baby food, formula, breast milk and similar items in carry‑on bags even if they exceed the 3.4 oz/100 mL limit.

  • Declare at security: Tell the TSA officer you have baby food pouches so they can be screened. Items may need separate inspection and might be opened for testing.
  • Amounts: Bring a reasonable quantity for the flight — there’s no strict ounce limit for infant food, but it should match your child’s needs.
  • Ice packs/coolers: Frozen solid ice packs are allowed through screening. If partially thawed they may be treated as a liquid and screened further.
  • Onboard use: Feeding during takeoff/landing is fine and can help with ear pressure. Don’t rely on crew to warm pouches — bring a small insulated container if you need warm food.
  • Checked luggage: You can also pack extras in checked bags, but keep what you’ll need during the flight in carry‑on.
