Can you bring baby formula powder on a plane with Frontier Airlines when traveling with a baby?

Bringing baby formula powder on a Frontier Airlines flight

Yes — you may bring baby formula powder on board with Frontier. Powdered formula can go in carry-on or checked bags, but carry-on is recommended so it’s accessible during the flight.

  • Security screening: At the security checkpoint declare baby formula and other baby food/fluids. Powder amounts greater than about 12 oz (350 mL) may need extra screening and inspection.
  • Prepared bottles and breast milk: Prepared formula, breast milk and juice are allowed in quantities greater than 3.4 oz and must be declared for inspection.
  • Packing tips: Use sealed containers or pre-measured single-serve packets to simplify screening. Keep a clean bottle, nipples, and a spoon in an easy-to-reach spot.
  • On board: Flight attendants may help with warming if allowed, but don’t rely on this — bring a thermos of warm water or ask for hot water early.
  • International travel: Rules can vary by country — check arrival airport requirements for baby food and powders before you travel.
