## Security with children

- **Family lane:** Family security checkpoints give priority access to passengers with children: T1 floor 1 departures, T2 floor 1 departures and T4 floor 2 departures.
- **Strollers and car seats:** Aena's family page doesn't publish a stroller screening rule. Free strollers are available in every boarding area after security.
- **Formula, milk and baby food:** Aena's family page doesn't publish the liquids rule. Standard EU rules allow baby food and milk needed for the trip beyond 100 ml; check Aena's security page or ask at the checkpoint, as Spanish airports are rolling out new scanners.
- **Shoes:** Aena publishes no special shoe rule for children on its family page.
- **PreCheck:** Not applicable outside the US.

## Getting between terminals

Madrid-Barajas has the connected T1, T2 and T3 building and the separate T4 with its T4 Satellite. Family lanes, play areas and free strollers are in both parts, so families don't need to change terminal to find them.

## Your rights

- **Lactation:** No Spanish or EU rule confirmed for Madrid guarantees a lactation room, but Aena provides an infant room in T2 and breastfeeding spaces in T4.
- **Changing tables:** No statute confirmed, but Aena states family toilets with nappy changing are available airport-wide.
- **Liquids:** Standard EU rules allow baby food and milk needed for the trip; Aena's family page doesn't restate them, so check at the checkpoint.
- **Boarding:** Aena publishes no family priority boarding policy; that is set by your airline.
- **If it is missing:** Ask at an Aena information desk in your terminal.
