## Security with children

- **Family lane:** SEA has no family security lane. What it does have is SEA Spot Saver, a free checkpoint appointment with its own dedicated lane, bookable up to five days ahead or on the spot, available daily 4 a.m.–10 p.m. at Checkpoints 2 (A, B and S gates) and 4 (C, D and N gates) for general-screening passengers only. ## Getting between terminals

The SEA Underground — renamed from the old Satellite Transit System — is a three-line underground train inside the secure area. Trains arrive every three minutes. The Blue Line runs the South Train Loop to the S, B and A gates, the Green Line runs the North Train Loop to the N, C and D gates, and the Yellow Line shuttles between the A and D stations only. Concourses A, B, C and D are also walkable; the N and S gates can only be reached by train. Checkpoints 1, 2 and 3 are nearest the Blue Line, checkpoints 4, 5 and 6 nearest the Green Line. ## Layover plans

### 1–2 hours — Move fast — the play areas are close to check-in

1. Clear whichever checkpoint is shortest; Checkpoint 2 serves the A, B and S gates, Checkpoint 4 serves the C, D and N gates.
2. If your gate is on Concourse A or D, the Children's Play Area is a short walk and free.
3. Feed or change at the nursing room built into the Concourse A play area, next to Qdoba.

### 3–5 hours — Use the sensory room and Spot Saver

1. Book a free SEA Spot Saver slot at Checkpoint 2 or 4 up to five days ahead to skip the standard queue.
2. Head to the Concourse C sensory room above Gate C3, or the one at the SEA Underground A Station — call (206) 787-5229 first for the door code.

### Overnight — Plan around the sensory rooms' midnight close

1. Both sensory rooms shut at midnight and reopen at 4 a.m. — use them before then if your child needs to decompress.

### International connection — The IAF has its own nursing room and family restroom
