# Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) with Kids: Play Areas, Strollers and More

**Short answer:** Stockholm Arlanda has around a dozen free Flajt play areas, mostly in Terminal 5 plus Terminal 2 and SkyCity, baby changing rooms before and after security in every terminal, and free borrowed strollers in Terminals 2 and 5. Swedavia lists no dedicated nursing room, family restroom, sensory room or family security lane.

**Velivolo family score:** 6.3/10 (Decent)

Arlanda is a good airport for kids who need to move. Swedavia's Flajt play areas are spread across Terminal 5 (Marketplace, Gate areas C, D, E and F, and baggage claim), Terminal 2 (near Gates 67 and 87) and SkyCity. Baby changing rooms sit on both sides of security in every terminal, and you can borrow a stroller for free after check-in in Terminals 2 and 5. Swedavia doesn't list a separate nursing room, family restroom or sensory room. Terminal 5's newer 5F security control lets liquids and electronics stay in your bag.

Terminal 2 security is open daily 04:30 to 21:00 and Terminal 5 daily 03:45 to 22:00, opening 2 hours before departure for flights before 05:00.

- **Shoes:** Swedavia publishes no special shoe rule for children. Outer clothing, headwear and large metal items such as belts go in a tray.
- **PreCheck:** Not applicable outside the US. Arlanda offers Fast Track, bought through your airline.
