# Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) with Kids: Every Family Facility, Mapped

**Short answer:** Tokyo Haneda has nine free kids' spaces and six calm-down rooms across its three terminals, plus free stroller loans. Haneda itself publishes two different totals for its baby rooms, so no exact count is given here. Terminal 3, the international terminal, has zero landside kids' spaces — both are past passport control.

Tokyo Haneda spreads real family facilities across its three terminals — nine kids' spaces, six calm-down rooms, free strollers and multipurpose toilets on nearly every floor — but the split by terminal and by security matters more here than elsewhere in this guide. Terminal 3, where international families connect, has no landside kids' space; both of its spaces are past passport control. Haneda also publishes two conflicting totals for its own baby rooms on the same page, so no single figure is stated here.

## Security with children

- **Family lane:** Haneda publishes no family or priority security lane. Its own 'Customers with Children' page enumerates every service it offers families — information counters, police, toilets / multipurpose toilets, special-assistance reservation, calm down / cool down spaces, clinic, drugstore, stroller rental, kid's space, baby nurseries, day nursery, amusements and paid off-airport stroller rental — and a security lane is not among them. Haneda does operate a bookable assistance service (介助サービス) staffed by certified 'service care attendants' on 03-5757-8111, open 05:00–24:00 for domestic and 24 hours for international, but it is framed for passengers with disabilities and elderly passengers, not for families with children. - **Formula, milk and baby food:** Baby milk and baby food are exempt from Japan's liquids rule, and the exemption is stated by the national authority rather than by the airport. Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (MLIT) applies the ICAO LAGs rules to every international passenger flight departing a Japanese airport, and explicitly includes transfer and transit passengers. ## Getting between terminals

Haneda runs a free shuttle bus between all three terminals, and it is frequent: 'Buses operate at intervals of 4 minutes from 5:00am - 8:00pm and at intervals of 8 minutes from 8:00pm - 12:00am.' First and last departures as published for 7 May 2026: T1→T2 04:55 to 01:23; T1→T3 05:04 to 01:32; T2→T1→T3 05:00 to 01:28; T3→T1→T2 04:47 to 01:15. Wheelchair assistance on the bus needs no advance reservation. The second option is widely mis-described as 'free connecting trains' — it is not. Haneda issues Transit Boarding Tickets valid on the Keikyu Line or the Tokyo Monorail, and states the eligibility narrowly: 'Transit Boarding Tickets are distributed only to customers transferring from domestic to international flights, international to domestic flights, and international to international flights.' You must present passport and flight tickets as confirmation, and you collect the ticket at an information counter — T1 B1F, T2 B1F or T3 2F. ### 1–2 hours, connecting internationally through T3 — Head straight for 3F post-immigration — it has almost everything
