Can you bring a bottle warmer on a plane with Allegiant Air when traveling with a baby?

Can I bring a bottle warmer on an Allegiant Air flight when traveling with a baby?

Short answer: Yes, usually — with some common-sense rules.

  • Carry-on is best: Bring the bottle warmer in your carry-on so you can protect it and access it during travel.
  • Security rules: Empty warmers are straightforward to screen. If it contains liquids, remember TSA rules — baby formula, breast milk and expressed milk are allowed in quantities greater than 3.4 oz but must be declared at security.
  • Batteries: If the warmer has a removable lithium battery, follow airline/TSA battery rules — spare lithium batteries should go in carry-on and may need insulation on terminals; larger batteries can require airline approval.
  • Onboard use: Airlines and flight crews control use of heating devices. You may not be allowed to plug in or run a warmer in flight; flight attendants can usually provide hot water to warm bottles.
  • Checked baggage caution: You can check a warmer, but electronics can be damaged and spare batteries are not allowed in checked bags.

If in doubt, pack it in carry-on, declare any baby liquids at security, and confirm details with Allegiant before travel.
