Can you bring a travel stroller on a plane with Frontier Airlines when traveling with a baby?

Bringing a travel stroller on Frontier Airlines

Short answer: Yes — Frontier normally allows a travel stroller when flying with a baby.

Frontier typically lets families bring one stroller (and one car seat) for a child. Most families gate-check the stroller free of charge at the gate — you use it in the terminal and hand it to the agent just before boarding. Compact, fully collapsible strollers that meet carry-on size may be allowed in the cabin only if space permits.

  • Bring the stroller to the gate so it can be tagged for gate-checking.
  • Remove loose items (toys, diaper bags) and fold the stroller as airline staff request; a gate-check bag helps protect it.
  • Car seats can be gate-checked too. If you want to use a car seat on board, it must be FAA-approved and the child needs their own purchased seat.
  • Expect retrieval at the aircraft door after landing at many airports, though at some airports strollers go to baggage claim — plan accordingly.
  • Arrive early and ask about family/pre-boarding options to make boarding easier.

Policies can change, so check Frontier’s official rules or ask the gate agent before travel if you need confirmation for a specific stroller model.
