Can you bring baby snacks on a plane with Emirates when traveling with a baby?

Bringing baby snacks on an Emirates flight

Yes — you can bring baby snacks on Emirates. Baby food, formula, breast milk and purees are allowed in carry-on even if they exceed the normal 100 ml liquid limit, but you must declare them at security and they may be subject to additional screening.

  • Carry-on only: Keep snacks and milk in your hand luggage so they’re accessible during the flight and at security checks.
  • Declare at security: Tell the screening officer you have baby food or liquids; items may be X-rayed or tested.
  • Solid snacks are fine: Biscuits, puffs, dry cereal and sealed jars/pouches travel without special restrictions.
  • Bring enough: Pack extra for delays or long layovers — reasonable quantities for the journey are permitted.
  • Onboard help: Cabin crew can usually provide hot water for bottles or heating when safe to do so.
  • Customs note: For international arrivals, fresh or homemade food may be restricted by the destination country—commercially packaged items are safer.

If you’d like, tell me the route and I can mention any destination-specific entry restrictions.
