Can you bring baby wipes on a plane with Singapore Airlines when traveling with a baby?

Bringing baby wipes on a Singapore Airlines flight

Yes — you can bring baby wipes on a Singapore Airlines flight. Baby wipes (including moist or pre-moistened wipes) are allowed in both carry-on and checked baggage. They are not considered the same as liquid toiletries covered by the 100 ml / 3.4 oz liquid rule, so you don’t need to put them into a clear liquids bag.

  • Carry-on convenience: Keeping a pack of wipes in your hand luggage is recommended so you can reach them during the flight for diaper changes, cleaning hands, or wiping surfaces.
  • Quantity: There is no specific airline-imposed volume limit for baby wipes. Bring a reasonable amount for the trip — larger or bulk packs are usually fine and commonly carried.
  • Security screening: Standard security checks apply. Wipes are normally screened without trouble, but a security officer may ask to open a sealed pack for inspection if needed.
  • Checked baggage: You can also pack wipes in checked baggage. If the pack contains a lot of moisture or is an unusual commercial product with flammable/chemical ingredients, consider carrying a normal baby-wipe pack in the cabin instead.
  • Special formulations: If your wipes are alcohol-based or contain other strong chemicals, check labels. Highly flammable liquids or aerosolized products can be restricted; plain baby wipes and typical antiseptic baby wipes are generally acceptable.
  • Connecting flights and different airports: Security rules are set by the airport/country performing the screening. If you pass through security in a different country, the local checkpoint’s rules apply. Most international airports treat baby wipes the same way.
  • Packing tips: Keep a small, clearly labeled pack in your carry-on for inflight use and a spare in checked baggage. Use resealable packaging to avoid leaks, and store wipes in an easy-to-reach place near nappies and change items.
  • If asked by staff: If a security officer or airline staff asks questions, explain you’re traveling with an infant — staff are accustomed to helping families and will guide you if any additional checks are needed.

Bottom line: baby wipes are allowed on Singapore Airlines. Pack them in your cabin bag for convenience, expect normal security screening, and keep a reasonable amount handy for the journey.
