Bringing breast milk on Emirates

Yes — you can bring breast milk when flying with a baby on Emirates. Carry it in your hand baggage and declare it at airport security.

  • Exempt from the 100 ml liquid limit for passengers with infants — you may carry reasonable quantities for the flight.
  • Security screening will apply: bottles, expressed milk, ice packs or frozen packs may be X‑rayed and sometimes opened for inspection.
  • Keep milk chilled in an insulated cooler with ice packs or frozen gel packs. Do not rely on in‑flight refrigeration, as storage is not guaranteed.
  • Label containers clearly and bring feed equipment and any necessary documentation for your infant (if helpful).
  • Formula and baby food are similarly allowed and screened separately from other liquids.

If you want complete certainty about amounts or in‑flight storage help, contact Emirates or the departure airport before travel.
