Bringing breast milk on Turkish Airlines

Yes — you may bring breast milk on board when traveling with a baby on Turkish Airlines
You can carry breast milk (fresh, chilled or frozen) in your hand luggage even if amounts exceed normal liquid limits. At security you should declare it for separate screening. Containers may be X‑rayed or opened and tested; if frozen solid, they may be treated differently

  • Declare at security so staff can do the required additional screening
  • Carry a reasonable amount for the duration of the trip and any delays
  • Use insulated bags or coolers with ice packs; frozen milk travels best
  • Bring a breast pump in cabin baggage; spare lithium batteries must be carried in the cabin, not checked
  • Keep bottles labeled and have the baby with you if asked to verify need
  • Check destination rules and contact Turkish Airlines or your departure airport if you need confirmation for a specific route
