Can you bring formula on a plane with Breeze Airways when traveling with a baby?

Bringing baby formula on a Breeze Airways flight

Yes — you can bring baby formula when flying with Breeze Airways. Breeze follows U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) rules for traveling with infants:

  • Prepared formula, breast milk, and juice are allowed in quantities greater than 3.4 oz and are not subject to the carry-on liquid limit. Declare these items at the security checkpoint.
  • Powdered infant formula is allowed in both carry-on and checked baggage but may receive additional screening. You may be asked to open containers for inspection or have them tested.
  • Frozen or partially frozen formula and ice packs are allowed. If thawed, they may be tested separately by security.

Helpful tips for a smoother experience:

  • Bring formula in clearly labeled containers or original packaging when possible.
  • Tell the TSA officer at the start of screening that you have breast milk/formula to declare — this speeds things up.
  • Pack extra supplies (bottles, nipples, pre-measured powder) in your carry-on in case of delays.
  • For international travel, check any destination rules and Breeze’s baggage policy for infant items before you go.

If you want extra assistance at the airport, ask Breeze or gate staff — they’re usually happy to help with preboarding or storing items temporarily. Safe travels with your little one!
