Can you bring a bassinet on a plane with Sun Country Airlines when traveling with a baby?

Can I bring a bassinet on a plane with Sun Country Airlines?

Short answer: Possibly — Sun Country may provide approved bassinets on some aircraft and at bulkhead seats, but they are limited and not guaranteed.

  • Reserve early: If you want a bassinet, request a bulkhead seat and the bassinet when booking or call Sun Country’s reservations. Availability is first-come, first-served.
  • Aircraft/flight dependent: Bassinets are offered only on certain aircraft and specific routes; not every flight has them.
  • Safety note: Bassinets are for in-flight rest only and are not a substitute for an approved child restraint during taxi, takeoff, or landing. Follow crew instructions.
  • Bring a CRS if you want a seat for your infant: If you prefer your baby secured for all phases of flight, bring an FAA-approved child restraint (car seat) that fits the aircraft seat.
  • Confirm before travel: Check with Sun Country before your trip and again at check-in/gate — gate agents control final placement and availability.
