Getting Through Bradley Security With Kids

Family lane

Bradley publishes no family security lane. Its main TSA checkpoint reopened in October 2026 after an expansion that added two lanes; signage now directs passengers to standard, PreCheck, PreCheck Touchless ID, CLEAR, priority and wheelchair-access lanes. A secondary checkpoint near the Sheraton Hotel screens PreCheck and CLEAR Plus passengers. You'll need a boarding pass, not just an itinerary, to enter the checkpoint.

Strollers and car seats

Strollers, baby carriers and car seats go through the X-ray, and anything too large is inspected by hand. Take your child out and carry them through the walk-through metal detector.

Formula, milk and baby food

Formula, breast milk and baby food are allowed over 3.4 oz (100 ml) and do not need to fit in the quart bag. Tell the officer at the start of screening and take them out of your bag.

Shoes and jackets

Children 12 and under can leave their shoes, light jackets and headwear on during screening.

TSA PreCheck with kids

Children 12 and under can use the TSA PreCheck lane with an enrolled parent or guardian. Teens 13 to 17 on the same reservation can too, if the PreCheck indicator appears on their boarding pass.

Know your rights

What Bradley Owes Your Family by Law

Lactation rooms

As a medium hub, Bradley falls under the FAM Act's requirement for a non-restroom lactation space past security. Its Mother's Nursing Lounge meets that, and it's open 24 hours.

Changing tables

Bradley confirms a changing table in its nursing lounge and companion-care restrooms beside most restroom blocks, but doesn't publish changing table locations elsewhere.

Milk and formula

TSA's national rule applies at Bradley: formula, breast milk and baby food are allowed over 3.4 oz (100 ml) and do not need to fit in the quart bag. Declare them at the start of screening.

Boarding

Family boarding is set by your airline, not by Bradley. Check your carrier before you fly.

If the facility is not there
